Product FAQS
Is it best to take protein powder before or after my workout?

Consuming protein immediately after you exercise is best. This is when the body is most effective at absorbing nutrients and aiding recovery. Just don't forget to ensure the total protein you consume throughout the day is adequate.

How much protein should I take?

The amount of protein consumed each day depends on an individual’s training and goals. However, a good standard to aim for is 2g of protein for every kilogram of bodyweight. For example, someone who weighs 80kg and exercises 2-3 times a week should consume approximately 160g of protein each day. The minimum amount of protein an athlete should aim for is 1.5g per kg of bodyweight.

What is the difference between Protein Shakes and Protein Water?

Both are delicious. Both deliver a big hit of protein. It all comes down to personal preference . Protein Shake + Iron is a dairy based milkshake like protein powder which is delicious and has 25% of your RDI of Iron. Our Protein Waters are light, clear, and refreshing. Enriched with Collagen to support ligament and bone strength.

What type of collagen is in the Protein Water?

Tendoforte collagen is a bioactive collagen peptide supplement specifically designed to support the health and quality of ligaments and tendons. It's not a specific type of collagen (like Type I or Type II), but rather a formulation of specific peptides that are derived from collagen and have been shown to promote the production of new collagen in tendon and ligament tissues.

Are the protein powders/ protein water gluten free?

All of the protein powders are ‘formulated without gluten’ which means that there is no gluten in the raw materials that are used when making it and also the manufacturing lines are gluten free.

Because we don’t test the final product for gluten, we cannot guarantee that they are gluten free – however the chance of cross contamination with gluten is highly unlikely.
