KYRA COONEY-CROSS

One of Australia's best footballers, representing the Australian Women’s National team. A crucial player in the 2023 Women's World Cup, Kyra dominates mid-field with focus and lightning speed.

Career

At just 15, Kyra kicked off her professional football career tearing up the fields for Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory. She wasn't just playing; she was dominating, clinching the W-League title in both 2018/19 and 2021/22.

Always one to shoot for the stars, Kyra played internationally from a young age, making her mark representing Australia at the U16 level. Kyra’s competence continued to progress impressively, and in 2020 she was selected to play for Australia in the Tokyo Olympics.

Then came the peak – the 2023 Women’s World Cup, where her killer performance paved the way for a move to Arsenal, following a 2-year stint at Hammarby in Sweden.
